Surf Lifesaving Clubs Australia
The first surf lifesaving club was Bondi Surf Lifesaving club founded in 1907. Other clubs were founded thereafter and today there are 314 affiliated surf life saving clubs with over 190,000 members. We are fortunate to have so many Australian beaches patrolled by mainly volunteer plus full time life guards who promote water safety and prevent drownings.
Branded Marquees
Branded marquees are a great way for surf clubs to show off their unique club colours and crests. Besides acting as a shade shelter, printed marquees on the beach are highly visible and provide symbols of safety and trust. Surf lifesavers use marquees as the control centre for first aid on busy weekends and holidays. The roof and wall fabric is UV protected and waterproof to ensure all weather protection.
Sponsored Surf Lifesaving Marquees
In Australia there are national surf lifesaving events which take place each year. There are many sponsors who support their local surf club and in return get brand exposure when printed marquees are used. As we are able to digitally print we can reproduce custom colours and branding onto roofs and walls. Brand exposure at surf events is a fantastic way to connect to a captive audience and to connect to the local community. The Nippers youth programme is highly successful and the Nutri-Grain Iron Man and Iron women series was born our of surf lifesaving. Promotional marquees are a great way for sponsors to get involved and to support these important surf events.
